Richard S. Pastore IDS Penn State Greater Allegheny Campus Rich Pastore received a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University in 1989. Prior to coming to Penn State, he worked for the Department of Defense for ECC Itnl., a company specializing in the design of weapon systems simulators and instructional systems for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. He has designed and developed CBT courses for the USAF System Acquisition process for AFIT (Air Force Institute of Technology), dual language CBT courses for the M1A2 Tank and Helicopter Pilot Training for the United Arab Emirates. He also designed and taught courses for the Master of Science Instructional Technology Degree at Philadelphia University. Mr. Pastore currently is the Instructional Design Specialist at Penn State Greater Allegheny campus. His current responsibilites include the development and delivery of professional development workshops and various training programs for faculty and staff at Greater Allegheny Campus. In addition to his responsibilites as a member of the Academic Affairs Department, he is an integral part of of the IT Team at PSUGA. He is heavily involved in emerging technologies both in Academia and IT. Mr. Pastore is also an Adjunct Faculty member and has been teaching in the IST department for several years. rsp7@psu.edu 412-675-9474
